The Allstarlink Node HotSpotRadio arrives ready to plug in and use.  The HotSpotRadio comes with your Allstarlink node number, frequency and CTCSS pre-confuigured and ready to go!  No need to set audio levels or configure your node, its already done for you and arrives plug n play!

Features

HotSpotRadios will be a complete package ready to power up and use.
 

Included are the following parts.

  • Raspberry Pi3B
  • HotSpotRadio PiHat (radio module comes in UHF) with CM119A (sound chip)
  • 16GB Micro SDHC Card
  • High-Quality C4LABS Raspberry Pi case as pictured
  • AC Adapter Power Supply - 5.1 Volt 2.5 Amp Pi power supply (tested and verified)
  • Antenna 


Some of the features of the HotSpotRadio include the following. 

  • Power down button, when pushed for 6 seconds will safely shut down the node.
  • Status LEDs for PTT, COR, and Heartbeat
  • Uses the Cmedia CM 119A USB audio IC
  • Uses a NiceRF SA818 UHF embedded radio module 100 to 400 milliwatts RF output power
  • Small, portable with self-contained radio and antenna 
  • The HotSpotRadio board is directly interfaced to the GPIO lines on the Pi so that radio settings and configuration can be programmed using the SA818-prog program running on the Raspberry
